Take the catnip out before washing, and machine wash the plush. Inspect the toy often, supervise play, and stop using it if it's worn, or if any pieces come loose or torn.

How do I refill it?

Pull the inner "hidden" flaps out of the toy, put in fresh catnip, then tuck the flaps back in and press firmly to seal. Gently twist the filled toy to release the catnip's oils.
