Pull the hair out of the pins, then wipe the brush with a damp cloth. Don't soak the bamboo handle, and let it dry fully. Brush gently and don't press hard. Check for bent or loose pins before each use, and wipe it down between cats. Stop if your cat pulls away or the skin looks red or irritated.
